The Timing Wasn’t Right

My husband and I decided to have an abortion when I became pregnant only a few months into our relationship.  We were in love, had plans to move in together, and definitely saw ourselves wanting a family one day.  But it was so early in our relationship and would have destroyed some of the plans we had.  So we decided to put our relationship first.  Fast forward 5 years when we were trying to have a baby.  And unfortunately, it wasn’t in the cards.  But it doesn’t change feeling for deciding an abortion was right for us.  You write your own story.  Our relationship continues to be the most important thing in our lives….12 years later.
