I never regretted my abortion – if anything it was the one thing I was sure of. We weren’t ready yet. He held me as we made the decision but the anxiety I still hold inside of me and the sadness I carry is that because of the stigma. I went through it alone and I’ll always go through it in silence. I’m very lucky to have a great partner but there’s so much he doesn’t understand and so much more I can’t explain.
