When my husband and I found out we were pregnant, we were so filled with joy. Although a surprise, we had always wanted to start a family. At our 20 week ultrasound, the technician saw some abnormalities. To be honest, I did too. We got two fetal MRI’s and both results were the same. Our doctors told us of the absolute best case and worst. We took everything into consideration and decided to terminate the pregnancy. I never thought I would have to make that decision but I’m so lucky to live in a place where I have the choice. I don’t look back and regret our decision. We are still happily married and hope to start our family soon.
