I did a medical abortion last year on 5th and 6th February. This year, on the 3rd and 4th of February I will be doing my second medical abortion.
We chose abortion as we couldn’t afford to raise money for kids. We are currently still in university.
We did practice safe sex, such as using barriers, my partner did not even ejaculate in. Up till this date, we are still puzzled how we got pregnant. On a positive note, it just means that my partner and I are fertile and we are thankful and grateful for this.
Even though abortion may seem a taboo in my country (I’m from an Asia country; Singapore). I hope this page reaches out to more Asian communities as Asian people tend to see abortions like a taboo.
We all should let them know that the mother’s well being and mental health comes first. 💛
