My story

I was sixteen and just starting junior year in high school. I figured out I was pregnant and hid it from my mom for five weeks. I’m very thankful for my mother because when I told her she reacted very respectfully and gave me the choice to have an abortion or continue with the pregnancy. I knew I couldn’t possibly give a baby the life it deserved at the time so I decided to go through and have an abortion. I ended up going through the abortion process and ended up having it on my seventeenth  birthday. It was sad, but overall one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself.
