My choice

I cried on my bathroom floor when I saw the positive sign on the test, I was scared and anxious, but I knew exactly what my decision was in that same moment, without a doubt. My mom was a single mom who had me when she was 18, she was forced to quit school and take care of me with 4 full time jobs. I’m a college student now because of all the work my mom did to raise me, and I knew having a child was not the right decision for me. I made my choice, and I am much happier for it knowing that someday I will be able to give birth to or adopt when I am mentally, finically and physically stable and ready.
