My abortion story isn’t dramatic, it isn’t special, it isn’t political. I wasn’t a poor teenager or a struggling single mom. I was a middle aged mother of two with solid income, a loving husband, a job, a house, a yard. Having a baby wouldn’t have ruined my life. Yet I had an abortion because I didn’t want to have a child and I’ve never regretted it for a moment. I love my children and I love that I was able to make that decision for myself and get a safe abortion and have this boring story to tell.
