My abortion

I was 23 and found out I was pregnant a week into traveling Peru for 3 months. I was taking malaria pills and vaccinated for typhus. That alone could have hurt the fetus. I tried herbal abortions because I wasn’t sure I’d make it back.  I made it back with 1 week to spare before it would have been considered late term. I am so thankful I did. I am so thankful I had access to safe abortions. And even if I had never taken malaria pills or tried other methods of abortion, I would have probably gone to get an abortion because I did not want to have a baby.
