It has been almost one full year since my surgical abortion. The more time has passed I feel I am better able to deal with it. I am fully 100% pro choice and very progressive, but the process hit me like a ton of bricks. Healing from this trauma has been helped by the other folks sharing their stories and their strength. I’m so thankful for this community. I couldn’t have made it this far without the solidarity of other folks who have experienced what I have. I love you all.
