I’ve had two abortions. The first one seemed like a no brainer. Afterwards I felt no shame or remorse. The second time I got pregnant my partner was very excited and wanted to follow through with the pregnancy. I was so torn between wanting to nourish a baby in love and terminating the pregnancy. I’ve always wanted family, but it wasn’t the right time. That abortion came with lots of grief. They were very different experiences.
