I had a doctor tell me that I was going to have trouble getting pregnant and for 8 years I did not use protection or birth control because I was convinced I couldn’t get pregnant. This behavior was not benefiting my body in any way. To say I dodged bullets would be an understatement. Needless to say I did get pregnant while having a one night stand with a sexy Australian drifter. Here I am in the office awaiting my appointment. I am not ashamed, I am not upset, I am thankful I live in a state that allows me to make this choice without any guilt or barriers. Thank you Illinois and USA for letting me decide what to do with my body.
