“Tim” and I went to the same high school. I got pregnant on a one night stand. He told me he would split the cost of the abortion with me but to keep it on the DL because it was embarrassing. Embarrassing? My right to chose is embarrassing? This is why people still have a problem discussing abortions. Because we are told that it’s embarrassing. I’m not embarrassed. I’m not ashamed. I feel empowered because I exercised my right to choose what was right.
