I have known my whole life that I don’t want kids. My husband is on the same page (wouldn’t have married him otherwise). I had my Nexplanon (arm implant) removed because I didn’t like the way it made me feel and it made my periods longer and heavier.

I got pregnant a few months later but thanks to planned parenthood, I was able to get an abortion. I had a failed medical abortion and then ended up needing a surgical abortion. I’m so thankful abortion can be easily accessed in VT. I have no idea what I would have done if I had to go through with the pregnancy. I hope it never happens again.
