I had an abortion last year. I was 24, with a partner of 2 years and did not plan the pregnancy. As soon as I knew i was pregnant, I knew an abortion was the option I’d take.
I was shamed by the doctor treating me and made to feel embarrassed for my decision. I wasn’t able to tell friends or family because many shamed or looked down on abortion.
