By having my abortion, not only was I able to reclaim my livelihood, but it also lead me to realizing my passion for abortion work. I now work as an abortion patient navigator where it is my job to help other pregnant people get the abortion care that they want and need.
Whether that be through obtaining funding for patient’s procedures, providing patients with practical support to obtain care across state lines, or just giving them basic compassion and a shoulder to lean on, this work has shown me that comprehensive abortion access is where my heart truly lies <3
