On the anniversary of Roe, I try to pause and feel grateful for abortion. Sometimes, I think of what might have been, but on this day, I always want to acknowledge what is because of abortion—Education, a career, my own well-being, two beautiful and deeply-loved children. Abortion made those things possible, and I am grateful.
