I had an abortion at 29 after I got pregnant in my first relationship. I was not ready at the time and it was a new relationship. I feel no shame, and am grateful to have had the freedom to choose what was right for me at the time.
I am now married to the same person and we have a wonderful child that was born seven years later. Having an abortion does not preclude you from being a good person, woman or future mother. Women have been deciding what’s right for them for eternity- we just have a modern way to make it safe.
