Because I knew it was right

So many things were wrong in my marriage. My ex did not believe the baby was his, though it was. We already had two amazing children and I would have happily welcomed a third child, but I knew I didn’t want to have another child with him. Having my abortion started my path to acknowledging and leaving an emotionally abusive and wholly destructive marriage. Though it took longer than it should have, I am now living in peace and strength, and it is all due to the confidence and affirmation I gained from having access with the abortion I so needed.
