I always wanted to be a mom.
When I found out I was pregnant the first time, I was super excited. I told my then partner and he said he wouldn’t have anything to do with the child. I ultimately decided to get the abortion because I didn’t want a child from a broken home to wonder why their dad never wanted them.
The abortion itself was pretty hard on me, but I have a very intentional baby with my now partner and I know that my child will never feel unwanted, and that’s how I know I made the right choice
