Abortion & Mental Illness

I didn’t know it at the time but I have BPD. He was a narcissistic sociopath. I was pregnant and overwhelmed by the thought of being tied to this man and possibly destroying a child with our dysfunction. When he found out about the abortion, he blew up and threw my birth control away. It’s been 17 years since and although I do wonder about the child that might have been…I believe this to have been the best outcome. We moved on and away from one another. He went on to have other children with different women, then proceeded with abandoning them each along the way.
