The only true grief I experienced was thinking of the injustice for the individuals in other parts of the world who did/do not have the option available, that I did/do to have this choice.

I felt blessed to live in a state that allowed me to regain control over my future. My process was simple, without complications, and I only felt relief and power in having control over my life and body.
