I had my abortion 20 years ago.  I didn’t want to have a child with someone I didn’t like or care about. I am forever grateful I was given a general anesthetic (10 weeks). I wish everyone got that.  The experience kicked me up the butt and I realized I needed to sort my life out, and I’m always grateful for that.  I ended up having three great kids with someone I did like and did care about.  I think about the one I didn’t have sometimes, but never with regret.
