I got it a month after turning 16, we’d used a condom so I was confused, angry and overwhelmingly scared. My parents were supportive and kind about the whole situation which I’m incredibly grateful for. I look back on it and I’m proud of how well I handled it, I was brave and strong and it made me grow from a girl into a woman.

I sometimes think about what the possibilities could have been, but I don’t regret it, because of all the things I want to do with my life. A baby will come at the right time, and until then I will live my life the way I want.
