Our claim to our bodies is inherent and non-negotiable. Abortion belongs to us—not because politicians or courts allow it, in some places and some of the time—but because our bodies belong to us, no matter what. Laws can make access easier and significantly more difficult, but laws do not tell us what we can and cannot do. Case in point: in the years following the fall of Roe, abortion has been banned in huge swaths of the country, but hundreds of thousands of people living in restrictive states have managed to have an abortion anyway. We’ll never stop.
This patch is a collaboration between SYA and Bryan Funck of beloved Louisiana metal band Thou. This is a super-detailed embroidered patch with iron-on backing and merrow edge that measures 2.38″ w x 3″ h. Iron-on instructions can be found here!
