Thankful, thankful, thankful

I had an abortion two months ago. I have been so happy with my decision up until a couple weeks ago. Things like holding a friend’s baby, singing with my students, little hands reaching out to grab mine would cause me to just start crying. They all hit me right in the open wound I almost tried to “heal” with a baby. Scrolling through your feed probably saved my life last night. I was encouraged and comforted by the messages. So thankful I had a choice. So thankful for the friends that held my hand and talked through every fear and concern. So thankful for the amazing women at the clinic. So thankful for abortion.
