I have had two abortions. The first one I was 17 and the second I was 21. For a long time I would make up excuses for them, as if I had to have a good reason to get an abortion. I was raised to believe I should be ashamed for my choice but I realized there is no shame. I am not ashamed. I made the best decision for me and I would make it again. I stopped making excuses and just say I have had two abortions and I am proud of myself for making that decision for me.
