We waited for 10 years before having kids to be sure we could give them a solid family…we had a 5 month old and a 4 year old when I accidentally got pregnant. I love being a parent more than anything, but knew my marriage would not survive another baby when our son was so little. I had an abortion. I have not once regretted it. It was an easy procedure, about as difficult as a bad period. Felt nothing but relief at the time. 10 years later, also nothing but gratitude this was an option.
