I had my abortion when I was 15 years old. The guy I was with was 19 and someone who made me have unprotected sex. The abortion was a difficult decision and one I did not make lightly. But I knew I was unable to fully care for that child and did not want to bring it into a world to suffer. Now, 12 years later, I am fully ready to be a parent and I owe it all to that experience. It was difficult but monumental lesson for me and when I have the chance to have another child, I’ll be ready now. 🖤
