Hello, SYA! We are hosting a night of stand-up comedy, featuring five comics talking about their own experiences with abortion, and an abortion researcher bringing the facts, and would love to have Shout Your Abortion table and sell their book at the event, if possible. My Body, My Jokes is a bimonthly stand up comedy show themed around the experience of living inside these weird, gross bodies. Just in time for the holidays, this month’s theme is everyone’s favorite family dinner topic: ABORTION! Join host, Maria Heinegg, and five hilarious comics as they share their own abortion stories, and social science researcher and abortion expert (and show coproducer!) Jenna Jerman, who will tell us everything we ever wanted to know about the current abortion landscape in the U.S.

The show’s proceeds will go to New York Abortion Access Fund (nyaaf.org), an all volunteer organization that offers financial support for anyone living or traveling in New York State who is unable to pay for the full cost of an abortion.
